| Questions: Political job search engines? I graduated from Central Connecticut State University in May of 2007 since then I have tried for several jobs within and outside of the political realm. I know of such search engines like Democraticgain.org and Hillzoo.com and CQ's job site. I live in Connecticut and ideally would like to find a political job within the state of connecticut since it probably makes more economic sense vs living on my own in a city which will increase your cost of living. I don't want to work with such organizations like US Public Interest Research Group or CT Working Families Party. I have done canvassing before and feel as though I am past that because of my college degree? Am I wrong? I would really appreciate an outside view; if you need any further clarification or info Ill be happy to add it. |
| The career that you want to enter is quite hard but if you try to persevere on that particular career, I think you can also grab it. I used to be in your situation and what I did was to volunteer in the local municipality as a coordinator of a dynamic team. As a neophyte, it was challenging for me to work with the people who are good at politics. You can check the site I posted. |
