| Why is Russia not considered as strong militarily as the USA? Don't they have ju Right now, the USA is in negotiations with Russia to limit nuclear weapons, just like we were during the time of Gorbachev. There must be a reason for that. They must have nuclear weapons now just like they had back then. So then, why do we hear the term, even sometimes nowadays, "the world's only superpower"? Is Russia not a superpower? How is that possible, if they have so many nuclear weapons. When the Soviet Union broke up, I don't think that they just gave up and threw away all their nukes. And I'm sure that the Communist Party of Russia didn't just give away their nukes to the other countries (Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, etc.) Isn't Russia just as strong militarily as the USA? |
