| Don Allen's speech at the MN Tea Party Rally in St. Paul These are my words on Thursday, April 15. 2010.... I am the editor in chief of the Independent Business News Network. As a Black Conservative not a politician, I was asked to speak, in my on words about the Tea Party Movement using my thoughts and opinions. Below is the speech which I will deliver today. I am the editor in chief of the Independent Business News Network. I would like to thank Toni Backdahl and the Tea Party Patriots for this opportunity to speak to you today. Malcolm X said, I believe in human beings, and that all human beings should be respected as such, regardless of their color. The Tea Party Movement has reached out to me, and people that look like me. Yes, Ive heard the mainstream media reports that the Tea Party Movement is racist and did not believe what I believed in. But I think that there is the potential for this movement to bring about a true revolution in this country. I also witnessed first hand on last Saturday the mainstream medias attempt dismiss a positive Tea Party forum when WCCO channel 4 television sent out a camera and reporter to a Tea Party rally in north Minneapolis at a Black owned business and refused to air the report on their 6 pm news cast, sighting excuses of not enough time in the news cast.
