| Bogosity Ep. 4: The War on Drugs (Part 1) Not a subject skeptics usually attack, but maybe that should change. A couple of things that don't really belong in the credits, but should be noted anyway: The Denver measure to legalize 1-oz of marijuana (which passed, by the way) was done through the courageous effots of SAFER (safercolorado.org ). The guy you see sitting beside the DEA idiot is from SAFER, and although I didn't include any clips of him talking, he did a pretty good job of making the case for legalization. And he didn't let much of the DEA guy's lies go unanswered. The Prohibition sign I saw with my own two eyes. Someone had found that still hanging to the side of an old barn. It's a genuine period sign, not a replica. It was auctioned off at the 2007 North Carolina Libertarian Party State Convention (www.lpnc.org ). |
