| Answers: Schizoid Progression? I was diagnosed with schizoid 1 year ago after finally seeing a psychologist after 13 years of suffering. I live in Hartford and my Dad married this girl from Thailand. In this process he kicked out my Grandma (his mother) who I was extremely close to. She was my best friend and now lives with my uncle in Oregon which is far away. This stress has does a toll on me and it is worrying me. About 2 months ago, I started seeing little gray furry balls on the floor that dont move but just stay there. Then they got worse. I saw the grass grow really tall and it would stay that way for hours then they would go down over a few days. I have a habit of always counting words in a sentence then I see that number walking. Recently, it is the worst. I see demon like figures that are a yellow green standing and they have a really dumb face on with sharp teeth and they keep pointing with their left index finger up or down. I wanna meet them but I cant. It doesnt happen all the time like right now is a good time for me. I have absolutely no friends, have never gone to a party, and never have been involved in anything. I dont wanna tell my dad about this because his worry state will make me worse and I dont want that. I called NAMI but they said to tell my dad. What do I do? |
| Have you consulted your doctor about it? Were you give medications or perhaps asked to volunteer yourself for therapy? Have you talked to anyone about this? You might need someone to talk to.. You have to have someone to comfort you.. ^_^ |
| You seem to have difficult time dealing not only with other people but even with yourself. I think it would be better if you try seek advice with a psychologist first to he can really give you the exact thing you need to do in order to overcome , what you are going through. It will also be helpful if you try to open up with your father what you are experiencing so he can help you too. |
| I think at the back of your head you already know that you have a problem, you are just too scared to confront them. Opening your problem here is a good first step to confront your "inner demons". You have to first realize that you need people to talk to and admit that you have a problem. Not having friends and the only person that you have is taken away from you really took its toll. How about talking to your grandma? |
| Those things that you were seeing are normal if you have your third eye open. Do you believe in supernatural? All of us have third eye and not all managed to open them. I think it would be better if you keep your mind away from thoughts like that. Go out with friends. Occupy your self with loads of work and be busy so those negative thoughts would all disappear. |
| Hi Angelyn! I think it is better if you talk it over with your dad. I know that he will surely understand you. Try opening up to him your problems. Discuss it thoroughly and calmly so that you would have no regrets in the future. I believe that you will surpass this kind of challenge. Other option is to consult a psychologist that will guide you on what proper things to do. I also suggest that you try to socialize yourself because it will make you feel better if you have someone to talk to. You can do it! |
