| Manhattan Project Work and Undercover Agent - Roland V. Fitzroy Electrical Engineer Roland V. Fitzroy (1922-2004) worked on the Manhattan Project at Berkeley with Robert Oppenheimer and others after he was sent to Oak Ridge in Tennessee to weed out potential spies in the system. He later went on to do important work for General Electric at KAPL (Knolls Atomic Power Lab) in Schenectady, New York. He was involved in separating U-235 from U-238 for the war effort.
